Clueless Joe Has A Party As Inflation Soars

They’re a cocky bunch, aren’t they? I’m talking, of course,  about the tone-deaf buffoons pulling the president’s strings.

They were the ones who propped Biden in front of what looked like the Gates of Hell a couple of weeks ago to deliver one of the ugliest speeches ever spewed by an American president.

It backfired.

Even Democrats could barely watch. The networks didn’t carry it. Lucky for Joe.

Next these geniuses decided the president should host a belated outdoor celebration on Tuesday to boast about Biden’s signature on the ironically labeled “Inflation Reduction Act.”

Their timing was exquisite. They planned the White House garden party for the same day August inflation numbers would be released. Oh, and the same day it was reported that the U.S. Army is urging military families to apply for food stamps if they can’t keep up with inflation.

These presidential aides - who clearly haven’t been in a supermarket in the past month - foolishly believed there would be good news on the economy Tuesday.

They were wrong. It was miserable. All of it.

Instead, as the president “celebrated” his great achievement the crawl at the bottom of television screens everywhere showed the stock market crashing on the day’s ghastly numbers.

It was almost comical. If we weren’t living through the worst economy since the Jimmy Carter years, that is.

Here’s a rundown of what spooked the markets: August’s inflation rate was 8.3%, higher than anticipated. This, despite Biden emptying America’s strategic oil reserves to artificially lower the price of gas before the midterms.

Now US oil reserves are reportedly lower than they’ve ever been and inflation is still killing American families.

Well done, Joe.

That’s because the cost of everything else is soaring: For instance, the “food at home” index is up 13.5%, electricity is up 15.8% fuel costs are projected to rise 25% as we get into winter.

Estimates on how much American families are spending just to keep up with inflation vary, but the State Inflation Tracker reckons that households are spending $635 more a month due to soaring prices.

Are you making $635 more a month than you were a year ago? No? Vote accordingly in November.

On Tuesday we saw on live TV just how out-of-touch and insensitive Joe Biden is to the plight of ordinary, decent Americans.

As families struggle from paycheck to paycheck, Biden stood on the White House lawn in his aviator sunglasses making happy talk about the economy.

Memo to whomever is writing Joe Biden’s cringe-inducing speeches: You aren’t fooling anyone, except maybe Joe and only because he isn't all there and never had a close relationship with the truth anyway.

The rest of us know Inflation is crippling the country. It’s wrecking the housing market, it’s crushing young families and it’s suffocating those on fixed incomes.

Someone should tell the president to stop gaslighting America and come up with solutions. Oh, and have him try, really hard, to act as if someone in the Biden administration cares about struggling American families.
