American Military Gets A Real Leader: Pete Hegseth.
It’s over.
I’m talking about the Pentagon’s failed social experiment. The movement that incorporated every insane wrinkle of woke culture into the military, put uniforms on the Biden/Harris freak show and resulted in the worst recruitment numbers in decades.
Meet the newest member of Donald Trump’s Dream Team: Pete Hegseth. Trump plans to nominate this decorated warrior and Fox News host for Defense Secretary.
With the bar set impossibly low, all of Trump’s team members are stellar by comparison. None more so than this surprising pick. Compared to Lloyd Austin, Hegseth is George Patton.
Kiss the pronouns, the drag queens and the DEI imbeciles goodbye. Hegseth, a graduate of Princeton and Harvard who earned two Bronze Stars for his valor in Iraq and Afghanistan is going to reinvigorate the military and clean house.
His best-selling book, “The War on Warriors,” offers a blueprint for reinvigorating the American military. Job one: Banish DEI and all forms of wokeism.
Don’t look for Hegseth to spout gibberish as his predecessors did about climate change being the primary mission of the military. He understands that the purpose of the military is to be the strongest, most disciplined fighting force on earth. Peace can only be ensured through strength. Right now, our country - from our president to our politically correct military - is weak.
Let me refresh your memories, via a story from 2021 from defenseone.com.
President Biden tells a story from early in his tenure as vice president when he and then-President Obama visited the Pentagon and met with the Joint Chiefs of Staff. During the meeting, Biden says, the Joint Chiefs told him that climate change was the greatest threat to American security. He invoked this story again during his recent European visit.
Soon afterward, Gen. Mark Milley, testifying to the Senate as Joint Chiefs chairman, was asked about the president’s anecdote. Milley concurred that climate change is a threat, but he hedged.
Milley HEDGED?
He couldn’t think of a greater threat to American security than warm weather?
Say goodbye to America’s squishy military.
Trump is sending powerful signals that he’ll do in his second term what he failed to do in his first: Run Washington’s swamp mutants out of town.
The choice of Marco Rubio for Secretary of State, John Ratcliffe as CIA Director and Hegseth at Defense are a strong start.
