You Don’t Hate The Press Enough. Part 5,432.

Some folks are born made to wave the flag

Hoo, they're red, white and blue

And when the band plays "Hail to the chief"

Ooh, they point the cannon at you, Lord

It ain't me, it ain't me

I ain't no senator's son, son

Yeah-yeah, some folks inherit star-spangled eyes

Hoo, they send you down to war, Lord

And when you ask 'em, "How much should we give?"

Hoo, they only answer, "More, more, more, more"

It ain't me, it ain't me

I ain't no military son, son, Lord

-John Fogarty for Creedence Clearwater Revival 1969

I’ve had enough of the Liz Cheney lie. It’s preposterous and it needs to stop. Donald Trump did NOT threaten to put her in front of a firing squad during an interview with Tucker Carlson last week and he didn’t threaten violence.

Everyone knows this

Yet the leftists and their bootlickers in the press are running with this almost laughable lie because they’re like a dog with a rancid rag. They think the lie delicious. They won’t stop chewing on it.

They debase themselves with this kind of propaganda.

Trump told the truth. He said that when she was in Congress Liz Cheney - like her war criminal father and a host of others - was one of the neocon chicken hawks. They never saw a war they didn’t like and they were more than happy to ship troops into some of earth’s worst hellholes, knowing that they would never stare down the barrel of a gun. It wouldn’t be their sons and daughters in harm’s way.

Parsing every single word Trump utters to immediately twist it into its most virulent form is what the left has been doing for eight years. And they’ve been aided by the legacy media

That alone is reason enough to vote for him. A Trump win could be the final nail in the coffin of the corrupt media, both television and print. Journalists have done everything possible to build up Kamala and spread falsehoods about Trump. If Trump wins, it’s the end for the leftist press.

Shall we review?

There’s the “fine people on both sides” lie. The “bloodbath” lie. The “dictator on day one” lie. The “inject bleach” lie. Not to mention the lies the left created out of whole cloth, like the “Project 2025” lie, he “wants to do away with Social Security” lie “if elected he will sign a nationwide abortion ban” lie.

If you’re a listener you know we open every “Kerry and Mike Show” the same way: with the 1969 recording of “Fortunate Son” by Creedence Clearwater Revival.

We picked this as our theme song when we first went on the air in June of 2020 for a reason. Not only are we both Creedence fans. We both come from working class, or lower middle class roots.

Our parents were not PhDs at prestigious universities. In fact, there were no PhDs in my neighborhood. My parents weren’t movers and shakers. They were hard-working people.

I looked around our small town in the 1960s and watched boy after boy sent to that meat grinder of Vietnam.

John Fogarty was right.

It’s easy to make war from the comfort of Congress. What’s hard is keeping the peace.

Trump, despite his foibles, demonstrated he was pretty good at peacekeeping in his first term.

That’s one of the reasons I’m voting to give him another.

My other main reason for voting Trump? To pound that final nail into the coffin of leftist propaganda outlets.
