A Tale Of Two Speeches

Let’s talk about that speech.

Not Biden’s political teleprompter talk from the Oval Office. Unremarkable and uninspiring by any measure.

Instead, let’s reflect on the orator with something meaningful to say who spoke yesterday to Congress:

 Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Netanyahu was strong, unbowed. Churchillian, some said.

"My friends, I came to assure you today of one thing: We will win," Netanyahu declared.

"Like Dec. 7, 1941, and Sept. 11, 2001," Netanyahu added, "Oct. 7 is a day that will forever live in infamy..."

The prime minister reminded Americans that, given the population of Israel, October 7 was the equivalent of 21 September 11ths.

(The U.S. went to war for 20 years and killed hundreds of thousands after our terror attack. Yet Israel retaliates and tries to save hostages for nine months and handwringing Hamas sympathizers in Congress demand a ceasefire. Are they nuts?)

"For the forces of civilization to triumph, America and Israel must stand together,” Netanyahu intoned as members of Congress leapt to their feet.

While Netanyahu spoke to an enthusiastic audience (minus dozens of Hamas-supporting Democrats like Kamala Harris, Tim Kaine and Nancy Pelosi who boycotted Netanyahu), mobs of demented anti-American and anti-Semitic barbarians descended on Union Station.

These seething half-wits tore down American flags and set them on fire. In the place of Old Glory, they raised Palestinian flags.

Think about this: Pro-terror rioters flew the Palestinian flag in our nation’s capital on Wednesday while the leader of Israel was addressing Congress. By default, the Democrats who stayed away to protest Netanyahu’s appearance sided with these monsters.

You’re either with Israel or you’re with the bloodthirsty terrorists who killed 1,200 on October 7th and took hundreds hostages. There is no middle ground.

Biden never talks about the Americans still being held in the tunnels of Gaza. Netanyahu just did.

Biden in his humdrum teleprompter talk never mentioned the anarchists in the streets of Washington.

Netanyahu did.

“I have a message for these protesters. When the tyrants of Tehran who hang gays from cranes and murder women for not covering their hair are praising, promoting and funding you. You have officially become Iran’s useful idiots.”

Brilliant.

How did left-wing Politico cover Iran’s useful idiots? You aren’t going to believe this:

Yep, Politico focused on the reactions of Republicans.  Predictably, Republicans POUNCED!

That’s what Politico saw as the story. Not that mask-wearing rioters burned our flags while chanting mindless slogans calling for the destruction of Israel. Not that terrorist-loving fanboys attacked Washington police while waving the Palestinian flag.

Politico took the opportunity to publish a sneering piece on how some people - normal folks like you and me - reacted with revulsion to the terror-supporting scum.

Shame on Politico. Bigger shame on Kamala and company who sided with the terrorists and shunned the leader of staunchest ally, Israel.
