Chasing Senator Sinema

Chasing Senator Sinema

Ever notice that when Republicans break with their party they’re praised  as “mavericks” and lauded as being "highly principled"  but when Democrats do the same New York Times columnists call them “obstructionists” and “narcissists?”

Worse, deranged lefties even follow them into lavatories, harassing them through stall doors.

Yep, I’m talking about what happened this week to Kyrsten Sinema, the Democratic senator from Arizona who doesn’t want to vote for the insanely irresponsible  $3.5 trillion “infrastructure” bill.

No doubt you’ve heard, the senator was chased into a ladies room by left-wing nuts at the university where she teaches. Once in there, they photographed  and harassed her.

Did I mention she was IN A BATHROOM?

See for yourself.

I love the defiant flush while these loons are yapping at her and threatening to get her out of office.

But where are the feminists, the women who claim to care about bullying and harassment? Why are they not saying this goes too far, that public officials - especially women - have a right to be “safe” (a word they love) and unmolested when they’re going about their own business?

If a restroom isn’t a safe space, what is?

Shoot, the president was asked about the bathroom incident and Biden simply shrugged and said “It’s part of the process.”

Well, it shouldn’t be part of the process. The increasing willingness of unhinged antagonists to follow public figures into their private lives - shoot, their most private moments - shouting slogans and sticking cameras in their faces is unacceptable and dangerous.

Someone is going to get hurt.

Imagine, for a moment, the reaction from the far left if the darling of the socialists, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, was pursued into a restroom by camera-wielding right-wing nuts.

There would be calls for the Department of Justice to declare these morons “domestic terrorists”. They’d be prosecuted under Arizona state law for photographing someone in a bathroom without their permission. Heck, there might be a congressional investigation into their motives.

So far, it appears nothing has happened in the Sinema case. Except left-wing excuse-makers trying to justify it.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, the woman harassing Sinema appears to be an illegal alien. She stupidly tells the senator, while Sinema is tinkling, that she was brought to this country when she was three and her grandparents were deported.

Good.

In a just world, authorities would be preparing to deport her too.

In another viral video we see yet another illegal - maybe the same one, who knows - bothering Sinema on a commercial jet. This woman is in the aisle, yammering about a pathway to citizenship for illegals, while Sinema is minding her own business, on her computer listening to something on her EarPods.

I thought flight crews were on high alert for unbalanced passengers. Guess they’re too busy making sure all the 2-year-olds are wearing masks.

Do these idiots really think that accosting an elected official and bothering them is at all persuasive?

A word of warning to these mouthy fools: Keep it up and it won’t be long before Sinema’s wearing a MAGA hat.
