See It: “Sound Of Freedom.”

See It: “Sound Of Freedom.”

Before I tell you why you ought to see “Sound of Freedom,” let’s talk about why the left doesn’t want you to see it.

In case you aren’t on social media and dabble only occasionally in alternative media - such as this website - chances are you haven’t heard about the surprise box office hit of the summer of 2023. Or if you have read about it, you’ve seen it slandered as a film with a “Christian theme” or, worse, part of a nutty QAnon conspiracy.

Do you mind me speaking frankly? That’s complete b.s.

This is the harrowing story - based on actual events - of former Homeland Security officer Tim Ballard, and his incredible efforts to free children who were kidnapped by human traffickers. Ballard had spent more than a decade tracking down and arresting pedophiles and peddlers of kiddie porn. When he actually finds a little Honduran boy who’s been sold to an American network of perverts, Ballard goes rogue. He heads to Honduras to find the boy’s 11-year-old sister who’s being marketed for sex.

Liberating children became Ballard’s passion. He literally spirited hundreds of kids away from their captors. This movie highlights a raid that freed 123 people, including 55 children.

If any theme ought to be able to unite right and left in this country it should be a revulsion and rejection of slavery. The thought of child sex slaves ought to nauseate every decent person on earth.

Yet corporate media movie reviewers have largely ignored this independent film and its story. Instead, they mock it.

Why do they hate this film? Why don’t they want you to see it?

It’s possible that with no big-studio bankroll, the reviewers aren’t being squired around to lavish premiers or showered with freebies in return for favorable write-ups. They also loathe actor Jim Caviezel, who plays Tim Ballard, because he once played Jesus in “The Passion of the Christ.” They hate Angel Studios because it also released the hit TV series, “The Chosen” about Jesus and they believe that Jesus belongs in church and nowhere else.

There may be another, more sinister, reason some don’t want Americans to see the cruel and violent world of pedophilia: They may be buying into the far left’s latest mission, which is to normalize something they euphemistically call “minor attracted persons.”

Those are adults who long to have sex with children. Some on the left claim this is just another harmless wrinkle in human sexuality.

Believe me, this is a thing. We wrote about one of those characters who worked at Old Dominion University until last year. Assistant professor Allyn Walker later landed feet first at Johns Hopkins.

I wrote about this person’s sickening efforts to normalize pedophilia here, here and here.

“Sound of Freedom” is a powerful, beautifully filmed, unforgettable movie. We may not want to look at what is happening in the Third World to feed the appetites of the world’s worst humans, but we should not look away.

Don’t take my word for it. Spend 15 bucks on a ticket and judge for yourself.

Buy your tickets early. My theater was sold out on Saturday night. Proving that word-of-mouth, social media and websites like this now have megaphones.

That scares the perverts.
