Biden: America’s Gasbag Gaslights The Country
Question of the day: Just how dumb do Joe Biden and his slobbering disciples think we are?
Answer: Pretty damn dumb.
Frankly, you’d need a single digit IQ to swallow the president’s latest whopper of a false equivalency: That there is any relationship between his unlawful attempt to “forgive” student loans and the fact that employers were not forced to repay the federal government for PPP “loans,” which absolutely everyone knew were in fact GRANTS.
Our student debt relief plan would have provided over 40 million Americans with real breathing room as they recover from the pandemic.

Congressional Republicans had no problem with billions in pandemic-related loans to businesses.
Some even had their own loans forgiven.
PPP funds were available to employers who were ordered to close their businesses during covid by moronic government officials who believed that there was a virus clause in the U.S, Constitution that permitted them to strip the population of their civil rights.
For the record, I was opposed to PPP grants because I was opposed - from Day One - to lockdowns, closures and mask and vaccine mandates. I also predicted that any time the government is passing out free money there would be massive fraud.
And there was.
But once the president and then governors forbade people to engage in daily commerce they had to issue some sort of compensation or throw the country into complete economic chaos and even famine.
Part of the covid foolishness was a suspension of the repayments on college debt. Why only that debt and not, say mortgage debt or credit card debt?
That’s easy. This was a naked attempt to pander to gimme-free-stuff voters.
As soon as he took office Biden began to yammer about student loan forgiveness even as he admitted he didn’t have the authority to do any such thing.
Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi went farther: She said the president didn’t have the power of the purse strings, only Congress could forgive those loans.
In a supremely clever move, the majority opinion of the Supreme Court decision actually quoted her:
At that time, Democrats controlled both houses of Congress and the White House. Has anyone asked them why they didn’t pass a loan forgiveness act? Remember, Congress actually approved the PPP program.
We all know why.
Americans have an innate sense of fairness and there’s nothing fair about asking taxpayers who didn’t borrow money to repay the loans of those who did.
The measure would have been hugely unpopular, except among college grads with worthless degrees who want something for nothing.
Think about it. Those of us who paid off our own college loans don’t want to repay anyone else’s. Those who never attended college - and perhaps took out small business loans to start their own companies - don’t want to pay off the loans of college grads.
Those who joined the military or ROTC as a way to both serve their country and pay for college would object, asking why these deadbeats didn’t simply enlist and use the GI bill.
No member of Congress wanted to go back to his or her district and try to defend such a nutty bill.
So the president acted unilaterally and illegally and is now blaming the Supreme Court. He’s also shoveling out the false narrative that the GOP is showing favoritism to those who were forced to take goverment funds to keep their employees off welfare during lockdowns over college students who signed loan documents and now don’t want to repay them.
Biden is gaslighting the country. We know that those with gender studies degrees don’t know what the PPP program was, but the rest of us do.
