Stop The Presses: Joe Biden Lied!
OK, what do you say we start off the week with a few things that send my blood pressure soaring? I saved the most egregious for last. (Late-breaking news.)
Here’s the first: Assisted suicide.
The ethical horrors that these laws generate are too complicated to get into today in this little space. Suffice it to say that the so-called “right to die” inevitably morphs into a “duty to die.”
Don’t believe me?
Take a look at Canada where every year brings a loosening of the guardrails that were originally placed around what was sold to the public as a compassionate measure to give dignity to those near the end of life. In 2022 there were 13,241 assisted deaths in Canada, some reportedly due to fears of homelessness or loneliness.
This rush to death is pushed in countries with government-run healthcare systems. After all, it’s much cheaper to simply kill patients who have lingering illnesses and poor prognoses than it is to keep them alive.
The latest country to enshrine this ghoulish practice into law is Great Britain.
Objecting strenuously to the law was Danny Kruger MP who claims that the Canadian law has given rise to a new profession: medical personnel whose specialty is killing people.
Leftists love assisted suicide almost as much as they love abortion. So that’s one more thing we ought to keep on the other side of our northern border.
Number two on our list of irritants:
Fauci.
Yep, the president took off his pajamas long enough to appear in public last weekend to sing the praises of one of the most arrogant, dangerous bureaucrats in American history: Anthony Fauci.
Not only did Fauci lie to Congress about his role in gain of function research with the Wuhan lab in China that likely unleashed the COVID-19 virus on the world, but his heavy-handed recommendations regarding school closures disrupted and destroyed the education of thousands of American school kids. Meanwhile, an untold number of Americans died alone of various causes during covid because of Fauci’s barbaric rules that kept family members out of hospitals and nursing homes.
Oh, and Fauci’s relentless exaggerations about the effectiveness of the covid vaccines resulted in unvaccinated people losing their jobs, their families and opportunities to travel.
And here’s Fauci three years ago, urging people to shun unvaccinated family members and not give them an invitation to Thanksgiving.
This never made sense to me. If the vaccines worked, why would someone who took the vaccine care if they had contact with an unvaxxed person?
He’s a heartless man.
Never forget what these despots did with Fauci as the ringleader.
Finally, this news broke last night: Stop the presses, Joe Biden lied.
Again.
Over and over during the campaign Biden insisted that he would not pardon his derelict son, Hunter. On Sunday, he did just that that. He issued a sweeping pardon that erased Hunter’s tax evasion and gun charges convictions and protects him from any crimes he may have committed going back to 2014.
What the heck? Hunter joined the board of Burisma in 2014, so this is intended to stop any investigation of the Biden family influence peddling operation when Joe was vice president.
Here’s a thought: Joe Biden may believe the pardon also cleverly protects him, but it could force Hunter to testify in any investigation into the Biden family activities. He can’t plead the 5th because he’s immune from prosecution.
Of course, it also protects Joe Biden, who was implicated in many of his son’s influence-peddling schemes.
Remember this interview? It was just one of many.
Remember how adamant his mouthpiece has been that he would not pardon the crackhead? As recently as last month she expressed disgust with a member of the press who dared ask if a pardon was coming.
On Sunday we learned that the president and his lieutenants lied.
Look, we all understand a father’s love for his son and his desire to protect him. It’s the lies that offend.
What happened to Biden’s mantra that “everyone needs to pay their fair share” of taxes? Except Hunter, apparently.
What happened to Biden’s snotty proclamations about Donald Trump that insisted “no one’s above the law”? Except Hunter, apparently.
Then again, what’s one more falsehood from this pathological liar.
