Democrats tried to discredit Hunter Biden’s former business associate, but were largely unsuccessful.
Tired of being discounted, dismissed and called a liar, Bobulinski came out on fire. Joe Biden was the “Brand” and was complicit in selling it, he said.
There was more. There’s this, from his written statement:
“I want to be crystal clear: from my direct personal experience and what I have subsequently come to learn, it is clear to me that Joe Biden was “the Brand” being sold by the Biden family. “
“His family’s foreign influence peddling operation – from China to Ukraine and elsewhere – sold out to foreign actors who were seeking to gain influence and access to Joe Biden and the United States government.”
“Joe Biden was more than a participant in and beneficiary of his family’s business; he was an active, aware enabler who met with business associates such as myself to further the business, despite being buffered by a complex scheme to maintain plausible deniability.”
The Democrats were spitting mad, interrupting Bobulinski, refusing to let him answer their insipid questions. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for instance, demanded Bobulinski name any crimes he had witnessed the president and his son commit, Bobulinski began rattling them off - corruption, RICO violations, FARA - and AOC became hysterical, cutting him off.
Bobulinski first surfaced in late October 2020 after news broke of the Hunter Biden laptop. While the Biden camp and their friends in the FBI embarked on a disinformation campaign claiming there was no evidence the computer belonged to the president’s degenerate son, the information on it showed Hunter was paying his father’s bills.
This was confirmed by Bobulinski’s testimony.
The same tenacity that took him from a walk-on on Penn State’s wrestling team to captain of that team his senior year was on display in the hearing room.
Bobulinski wasn’t taking the guff these twits were throwing at him. He reminded them that he came from a proud military family and that he’d been willing to die for this country during his decorated Naval service (he was an officer and instructor with the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command) . Without saying as much, Bobulinski reminded the panel that Hunter Biden was unceremoniously tossed from the Navy after a brief, undistinguished career, for being a coke head.
On at least one occasion, Bobulinski met with Joe Biden, at a meeting that was set up by Hunter and Jim Biden. Business was discussed and it was clear to Bobulinski that Joe Biden was vetting HIM.
As much as Democrats want to pretend that the president was unaware of his family’s influence peddling and shady dealing with America’s enemies, Tony Bobulinski, with nothing to gain, had a front-row seat to some of the Biden family grift that resulted in them Hoovering up about $20 million from foreign sources.
The Democrats in Congress were unpersuaded. The rest of America should be alarmed.
