I can tell you the title of one book that will NOT be featured in our digital library, however. “Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again,” by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson. Due to be published in May.

True is, I can’t wait to read the tell-all books that will be coming in the next couple of years about the Herculean efforts of “Dr.” Jill and the Biden team to make old Joe seem alive. I’m also looking forward to investigations into members of the legacy press who deliberately lied and misled their audiences about the state of Biden’s brain.

But a book by Tapper? Jake Tapper? That smarmy, insincere, self-righteous CNN Washington anchor who served as a loyal acolyte to the last president and indignantly shouted down anyone who questioned Joe Biden’s mental fitness? 

Nah, I’m not interested in what he has to say unless it’s a heartfelt mea culpa.

And this tome doesn’t appear to be that.

Look, Tapper was an integral part of the Weekend At Bernie’s Cover-Up, which is maddening considering his JOB was to tell the truth and deliver honest reporting to the public.

For instance, in October of 2020 Tapper interviewed Lara Trump who was working on her father-in-law’s campaign. The CNN host’s bristling indignation and outright hostility when Ms. Trump questioned Biden’s cognitive abilities, which were plummeting even then, are worth revisiting.

As if everyone with eyeballs couldn’t see that Biden was falling down, spouting gibberish and hiding from the press during the campaign. It got worse, much much worse, as his presidency dragged on until it was clear to all that Biden was barely functioning. Yet Tapper and his pals kept insisting the president was sharp and anyone who questioned that lie was being mean-spirited.

The moment of truth came on June 27th when Biden imploded on camera during his debate with Trump. 

There was no hiding Biden’s dementia anymore and the loyal legacy media suddenly had a green light to point it out so that Dems could shove Biden out of the race and get someone else in.

People write lots of books for lots of reasons. But it takes a special kind of narcissist to defend the president and pretend Biden was a well man while also secretly collecting notes and interviewing colleagues so he could eventually publish a tell-all and rake in lots of money.

On his podcast Wednesday, Ben Shapiro said the June presidential debate was not just the death of Joe Biden’s campaign, it was also the death of the legacy media.

On that night even America’s mid-wits realized that they’d been suckered by the corporate news media. 

Maybe that’s why Tapper wrote the book. So he’ll have something to fall back on when CNN finally collapses.
