Virginia To Stop Mutilating Children

Virginia To Stop Mutilating Children

Good news!

Health centers at the University of Virginia and Virginia Commonwealth University have stopped mutilating children!

Not that the doctors are eager to stop. These patients-for-life are big moneymakers. They’re being forced to leave the kids alone.

It took an executive order from President Donald Trump plus a stern warning letter from Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares for these Mengele-style experiments to end.

No worries, their lawyers are looking for loopholes as you read this.

The president signed an amazingly comprehensive executive order “PROTECTING CHILDREN FROM CHEMICAL AND SURGICAL MUTILATION” on January 28.

Two days later, on January 30, Miyares fired off a letter of his own warning that noncompliance with the Executive Order poses a major legal and financial risk for these state agencies.

Miyares’ letter reads in part:

As the Executive Order takes effect immediately, I write to provide this prompt legal advice to enable the Commonwealth - including its agencies - to protect itself from significant legal risk and substantial financial exposure. Given the plain terms of the Executive Order, the chemical and surgical mutilation of children must end immediately. Any institution that continues to engage in such mutilation unacceptably and unjustifiably endangers not only itself and the commonwealth, but also the vulnerable children of the commonwealth.

This clears up one important issue. Miyares’ missive serves as proof that these state-sponsored medical centers WERE in fact performing what amount to chemical experiments on children and even removing healthy body parts, after many denials.

UVa Health claims that it did not perform sex-change surgeries on minors, but it announced on Friday that it suspended all “related services.” In a statement, UVA said, “Like many health systems across the country, the University of Virginia and UVA Health are working to analyze and interpret the federal order and related state guidance.”

Um, that wasn’t state “guidance” that was an order. These hospitals best obey it.

The entire “gender-affirming care” industry aimed at confused and mentally unwell children is macabre. As the number of parents claiming their kids suffered from gender dysphoria soared in the past several years, so has the promiscuous use of puberty blockers and hormones as precursors to surgeries.

Western European nations, one by one, have been banning and severely restricting atrocities. The U.S. should follow suit. Frankly, it isn’t enough for only state agencies to comply with the Executive Order, all Virginia health systems should.

Predictably, Virginia Democrats ranted about the decision, standing firmly on the side of chemical castrations and the mutation of confused youngsters.

Del. Delores Oates, R-Warren, said in a written statement that she supports Miyares’ directive.

“Chemical and surgical mutilation of a child has permanent, lifelong consequences,” Oates said. “We have laws that protect children from being held to contracts, entering into marriage and other significant life changes because they’re young and not ready to make those decisions.”

Senate Democrats released a statement Friday condemning Miyares’ directive and stating that Miyares and Gov. Glenn Youngkin “are taking orders from MAGA extremists.” Senate Democrats also note that Virginia law already requires parental consent for gender-affirming care.

Sorry, Democrats. Parental consent isn’t enough. Just as lobortomies were once performed with parental consent, the barbaric experimentation on the bodies of young people with mental illness needs to stop.

Now.

Elections have consequences. Vote wisely this November.
