At Last: Those Biden Tapes

At Last: Those Biden Tapes

There were reasons the Biden administration refused to release the audio tapes of Joe Biden’s four-hour 2023 interview with Special Council Robert Hur.

Now that Axios has obtained the entire tapes, we know why. The president was in worse shape than some of us suspected. He was confused and frail. The tapes were released on Friday. The Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson book, “Original Sin,” which reveals the extent of the cover-up of his mental decline, is due out Tuesday.

On Sunday - right on cue - the Biden camp announced that the former president has an aggressive and advanced form of prostate cancer.

I wouldn’t wish cancer on anyone. But the timing of this announcement raises questions about an administration that was allergic to transparency and that hid the president from the public.

Biden’s annual physical in February 2024 pronounced him “a healthy, active, robust 81-year-old.” There is no indication of a PSA test. (Both Obama’s and Trump’s annual physicals featured PSA results. Biden’s never did.) This is either a case of medical malpractice or another coverup.

I’m truly sorry about his cancer. But a serious health condition, being revealed now, doesn’t excuse what happened during his failed presidency.

Listen to the condition he was in during that interview in 2023:

I wrote at the time - in February 2024 - that the written report provided by Hur made it was clear that it was time to invoke the 25th amendment at get the Puddinghead President out of the White House.

I was just one of a thousand voices on the right raising the alarm that a dementia patient with the nuclear codes and the ability to annihilate all of humanity was a clear and present danger not just to the United States but the globe.

In return, we were treated to a cavalcade of abuse and insults by lefties who so hated Donald Trump that they were willing to imperil the planet with this addled leader of the Free World.

Kamala Harris, for instance.

And let’s never forget Joe Scarborough’s indignant and provably false claim a month later about the sharpness of Biden’s mind.

It is no exaggeration to say that the cover-up of the president‘s mental condition by his family and inner circle, with the complicity of the legacy media, was the biggest political news story of this century, bigger than anything since Watergate.

In my opinion, it is BIGGER than Watergate. Much bigger.

There needs to be a Biden commission appointed to haul his enablers into the public arena and have them answer for their treasonous behavior, his present health crisis notwithstanding. Come to think of it, why not haul Biden’s White House physician Kevin O’Connor in as well to ask whether he ever conducted cancer screenings on the president?

The American people have a right to know who exactly was running the country while the president was napping. It’s time to look at the pardons that were signed in the final. Hours of Biden’s presidency, giving free passes to his entire family crime syndicate, Anthony Fauci and others.

The president has broad pardon powers, but if someone else was using the auto pen to pass out pardons, the courts may decide they’re invalid.

Democrat operative David Axelrod, upon learning of Biden’s cancer diagnosis, demanded that conversations about Biden’s mental acuity “be muted and set aside for now as he’s struggling through this.”

Nice try, Axelrod. But that’s a no.

Good Grief. Who’d Campaign With Ralph Northam?
