New York City Mayor Plays Whack-A-Mole With Antisemites

Here are six words I never thought I’d write: I feel sorry for Eric Adams.

The mayor of New York City is in legal hot water over his too-cozy relationship with Turkey, while he’s playing Whack-A-Mole with unhinged anti-semites running amok in the streets and in public schools.

“The vile show of antisemitism at Hillcrest High School was motivated by ignorance-fueled hatred, plain and simple,”. He said over the weekend. “And it will not be tolerated in any of our schools, let alone anywhere else in our city.”

Oh really? As best I can tell, the violent students are still in school.

The latest spewing of anti-Jewish hatred happened in this Queens high school last week where a Jewish teacher was forced to hide when a mob of deranged terror supporters began rampaging through the school, searching for her while waving Palestinian flags and foaming at the mouth because this teacher was photographed at a pro-Israel march.

Hundreds of “radicalized” kids rampaged through the halls of a Queens high school this week for nearly two hours after they discovered a teacher had attended a pro-Israel rally — forcing the terrified educator to hide in a locked office as the teen mob tried to push its way into her classroom, The New York Post has learned.

The mayhem at Hillcrest High School in Jamaica unfolded shortly after 11 a.m. Monday in what students called a pre-planned protest over the teacher’s Facebook profile photo showing her at a pro-Israel rally on Queens Oct. 9 holding a poster saying, “I stand with Israel.”

“The teacher was seen holding a sign of Israel, like supporting it,” a senior told The Post this week.

“A bunch of kids decided to make a group chat, expose her, talk about it, and then talk about starting a riot.”

Hundreds of kids flooded into hallways and ran amok, chanting, jumping, shouting, and waving Palestinian flags or banners.

So these were “radicalized” students? Who radicalized them? Or is this just the latest social contagion, are kids now trading transgenderism for antisemitism? Or are their teachers spouting pro-Hamas garbage in the classrooms?

This wasn’t an isolated incident.

Earlier this month there was a citywide walkout of hundreds of students protesting Israel and calling for a ceasefire, while students in a Brooklyn high school were heard shouting, “F—- the Jews.”

The blame for this rabid idiocy can be spread around: First, what the hell kind of parents do these monsters have? Second, what have students been taught in school that leads them to sympathize with terrorists over victims? 

Actually, a bigger question is why are these kids still in school? They destroyed property, threatened a teacher and caused a riot.

Expel their spoiled derrières and restore order. 

Oh, and taxpayers need to get that teacher a full-time body guard. She’s not safe while these deranged students are still allowed in the building.
