Afghan Immigrant Plotted Election Day Terror
Big miss, Kamala.
When one of the harridans on “The View” asked the vice president yesterday if there’s anything she would have done differently from Joe Biden over the past 3 1/2 years, Harris replied that she couldn’t think of a thing. ”Nothing comes to mind…”
Hmmm. How about that reckless withdrawal from Afghanistan? You know, the one that got 13 service members killed and another 18 wounded, some severely? You don’t wish you’d handled that more responsibly, instead of frantically racing out of the country so you two could throw a party on September 11th?
Sheesh.
What a coincidence, actually. On the same day Harris became the first Democrat to bungle an interview with the fangirls of “The View,” the FBI arrested an Afghan national that Harris and Biden brought into the country during the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan.
He was plotting an Election Day terror attack designed to kill many Americans and disrupt our elections. It was a suicide mission, he acknowledged.
The AP reports that Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, 27, was living in Oklahoma City and allegedly conspired with his bother-in-law, a juvenile, to commit a mass slaughter on Election Day. Law enforcement isn’t naming the other would-be terrorist because of his age
By the way, I’m calling BS on that policy, AP. Give us the dirtbag’s name and his particulars. The FBI says he was part of the plot to massacre Americans and create bedlam as voters went out to cast their ballots. He isn’t entitled to the same privacy the press extends to American juveniles who shoplift a pack of gum.
Tawhedi entered the U.S. on a special immigrant visa, a program that permits eligible Afghans who helped Americans despite great personal risk to themselves and their loved ones to apply for entry into America with their families.
Eligible Afghans include interpreters for the U.S. military as well as individuals integral to the American embassy in Kabul. While the program has existed since 2009, the number of applicants skyrocketed after the chaotic U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021.
There were charges at the time that the US government was not vetting the thousands of Afghans who were airlifted to America.
This arrest proves that point.
Tawhedi was arrested Monday after taking possession of two AK-47 rifles and ammunition, officials said. The unidentified co-conspirator was also arrested but the Justice Department did not provide details because he is a juvenile.
After he was arrested, the Justice Department said, Tawhedi told investigators he had planned an attack for Election Day that would target large gatherings of people.
Tawhedi was charged with conspiring and attempting to provide material support to the Islamic State, which is designated by the U.S. as a foreign terrorist organization. The charge is punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
Despite their 11th hour executive actions aimed to curb illegal migration, the Biden-Harris administration’s border policies have been disastrous.
Their reckless policies will reverberate for years.
Apprehended.
Imagine how many more crept into our country undetected among the hordes of military-aged men who swarmed our border for three years.
Worse, the Biden-Harris administration released 99 of those suspected terrorists into the country.
No one knows how many bad actors slipped into the US among the thousands of Afghans the administration.
The FBI found two.
How many more are out there just waiting for their moment?
