For years, I've been offering assorted explanations for why I spent three years in Dublin during the early 1980s: To cover a war without going to the Middle East. To avoid appearing in public in a bathing suit. To cure a case of unsightly hand warts. To date guys with Irish accents.

The list changes but almost always contains a kernel of truth.

As if everyone with eyeballs couldn’t see that Biden was falling down, spouting gibberish and hiding from the press during the 2020 campaign. It got worse, much much worse, as his presidency dragged on until it was clear that Biden was barely functioning. Yet Tapper and his pals kept insisting the president was sharp and anyone who questioned that was partisan and mean-spirited.
